I need to know what kind of tape to use for a lip kit install and where would i get it. Also how thick and how much do they go for.

I've searched and found some people use 3m mounting tape but they dont give a part number or any other description.

 

3M double sided foam tape, you can get it at WalMart.

 

you guys don't use screws you use tape?

Usually screws and tape, he just asked what tape to use...that's why screws were not mentioned.

 

I use screws to secure mine, and the tape to take care of any gaps

 

Are you guys talking about screws on the face of the spoiler, or on the sides and underneath?
