Turbo for b16

Turbo for b16
i have a b16a obd0. can i put any turbo made for a b16 in there or does it have to be specially made for my exact motor? Is there any cheap turbo I could get (5 psi) 'cause all of the ones I see are $1500+

go to the forced induction forum and ask around. also check out homemadeturbo.com 
you can put any turbo in, it is the manifold that has to match ur motor (b16) and then have a flange that matches the turbo on it, or an adapter plate. EX: a T3 turbo obviously has to have either a T3 adapter plate or a manifold with a T3 flange. Search and Search some more in the forced induction forum. Read the turbo stuff for noobs. I have read every word of it atleast 3 times and learned sooo much. lots of research and you will be able to do a budget build and have a complete turbo setup for possibly under 1500 if you are willing to use used items. remember to have money for a proper tune though or it will all be a waste. Good luck, and other posters please correct me if I am wrong with info I gave him. I do believe I am correct though.

Yeah....everything above is good. BUT!!!!!!!!!! GET IT TUNED!!!!!! Crome or Hondata or Neptune or whatever you can afford. If not, you are wasting money.

Used aftermarket fuel pump
DIY catchcan
Used or DIY 3" downpipe and exhaust.
Brand new air filter, never buy used ones.
