Well I just put my head back on my built block from RS....

So as I started my car it doesn't hold idle...the only way the car idles is by giving it gas and just holding the gas paddle there. If I let go of the gas it dies out. Also my temp gauge doesn't move either. It shows cold pretty much all the time. Radiator fan comes on but the gauge doesn't move.

I checked all the wiring and everything is in its right place... What could it be????

Also should i change my thermostat? Is that why my temp gauge doesn't work. But the weird thing is that my fan comes on so the thermo must be working.

Any help I need this car running asap. Its been a long six months since i drive my lovely type r.

Pretty much the head is stock.
The Block has RS Sleeves, CP Pistons (Comp 9:3 with gasket), Eagle Rods, Bored out 82mm, Micro Polished and Knife Edged Crank, New Oil Pump, AEM High Fuel Rail.

Thats pretty much it. Could it be the timing belt. As i rev it up to 3grand it jumps a tooth or two. I was wondering if that might be the problem.

I NEED HELP? Not mentally but on this damn car.
