Condensation in headlights help please
OK. I have the 9005 conversion done in both headlights. I also have a repetitive problem of condensation in the right headlight assembly. Both the headlight and the bright have condensation in them. I dry them out by leaving the lights and brights on and the condensation seems to go away. But then I do some driving and it comes back.
So what is causing this? I dont think it is a bad seal, I cant see any light escaping from the back of the light when it is on. And the lights are vented anyways right? And why is it happening only on the right side?

you have a crack somewhere on your headlights... I have the same problem w/ my passenger side tail light..theres a small crack somewhere letting in moisture.
Take out your bulbs (its easier if you take the whole headlight assembly out. Use a hair drier, and dry out your headlights. By leaving on your headlights, you will clear the lens, but the moisture won't escape. blow hot air in there...

Just taking out the bulbs isn't enough. Take out the bulb, then twist off the black rubber ring that goes around the part the bulb goes in to. This gets you into the housing where all the moisture is. Leave the ring off, put the bulb back, turn on the lights and let it dry.
My condensation went away, so yours should too. I left the bulbs out all night w/ a fan blowing on the back of the lights.
