Clutch Engagement/Dilemma
Ok guys I already researched a lot of the threads about engagement points and etc.
I have a 2000 GSR with 75k miles and the clutch doesn't slip, etc. and still runs strong. But it engages at about 3/4 the way up!! Is that how it's supposed to be because I heard other people's tegs engage like near the bottom. I want my engagement point (catch point) near the bottom.
My clutch doesn't slip at all and is still very strong as I mentioned.
My pedals is 6.5" above the floorboard and the freeplay is about 0.5" which is right.
A mechanic told me since the engagement point is near the top, my clutch is worn, but I was like wtf, everything else is perfect!! What should I do?? Help thanks!!

It could be worn, but stll not slip.
Also, I thought yiou could only adjust whereit engages on cable trannies, not hydraulic trannys?
If I'm wrong, I apologize, but I've been told before that I cant adjust it since its hydraulic.
