I have reset the timing all of the marks were aligned.....and then when I put the crank pulley on and the put the timing light on the motor the timing was off ........The 3 slashes the middle the red and the 1 slash furthest away is the white when it is tdc the cut in the timing cover doesnt even match up to the red mark on the pulley.......

I moved my dizzy and it brought it close but it is still like a hair off of where it is suppost to be....what am I am doing wrong.....the dizzy will no longer come any further towards the front of the car...

Did you make sure that the "UP" marking on the cams was pointing up, while the TDC mark on the crank pulley was alinged?

yes I am running skunk2 cam gears....I the 3 dots on the gear I have them aligned....they match each other, and have one of the dots facing up....I just dont understand. I took off the timing belt, aligned the cam gears, aligned the crank to the mark on the oil pump...and then put the crank pulley on and it was already off what could be wrong the dizzy is dead center... it almost is right if you look at it with timing light....
