Civic stolen from NOPI Event on Sunday May20
Default Civic stolen from NOPI Event on Sunday May20
Hey guys,
I'm new to honda-tech, although I have been on this site several times this is my first post. Unfortunately, this is not what I wanted my first post to be about but, it is. My 95 EJ1 was stolen from Nopi NDRA Spring Nationals at Maryland International Raceway (Budd's Creek, MD) on Sunday. It's horizon grey with Red Rota GT3's. I had just completed most of the mods I planned for the car including a 96 Spec JDM B18C from an ITR. Be weary of my stolen parts which will follow in the list below.
I want to warn you all, if you go to any events like this make sure you drive your beater or use pit parking. My Civic was the 12th one stolen from there over the weekend!! Therefore I am boycotting Maryland International Raceway (MIR) as they did nothing to help protect the cars there, knowing that cars were being stolen at a high rate. I know my story is a lot like some others who had the unfortunate happen to them so I empathize with each of you. PLEASE, protect your car with as much security as you can and save yourself the heartbreak of having your baby taken from you.
On Monday, I got a call saying that the car had been recovered in Beltsville, MD. I was surprised but wasn't expecting for there to be anything left. I was right. The only good thing they left were the seats, LCAs and the front swaybar.
The following is a list of mods/parts taken
96 Spec JDM B18C from and ITR w/ LSD Tranny (Block serial # is 2006524 and was puchased from hmotorsonline.com)
AEM hybrid CAI w/ dryflow filter
T1 Sports Straight Pipe
Apexi WS cat-back exhaust
Front bumper with JHPUSA.com OEM replica yellow fog lights
Chipped P28 (done by katman from http://ecu.ff-squad.com.)
VIS OEM Carbon Fiber hood
shift linkage
15" Rota GT3's in RED with polished lip on 205/50/15 Falken Ziex ZE512 tires
Omni Power LCAs
Full Eibach suspension: dampers, sportline springs and front/rear swaybars
Neuspeed front strut-tower brace (black w/ yellow letters)
Passwordjdm.com rear strut-tower bar (bronze)
I would appreciate if you guys keep an eye out for these parts or any info you might know. As I said before, my car was the 12th one stolen and I know that the lost souls who did this will be looking to unload the parts ASAP.
I will upload pics and soon as I figure out how to.
