You may have thrown a wheel weight. Try moving the tire to a different corner and see if the problem follows it. If it does, just get that wheel balanced.

Get your wheels balanced. If the shaking occurs when braking too then you have an altogether different, and a bit more expensive, problem.

Make sure your lug nuts are not under or over torqued. I had a similar problem...

check, your alignment, get your wheels rotated and balanced, check your lug nuts.

are you riding on old shocks and struts?

Knowing this, I'm almost convinced now that you've just thrown a weight. It may have taken a couple of hundred miles to shake itself loose. Check the wheel to see if there's any "clean spots" where it looks like a weight used to be.

No, he means from the wheel iteself. Look on the inside portion of the wheel for a little weight that is glued onto the wheel.

if you put a wheel weight on a new wheel, it will protect the area underneath it from dirt, brake dust, etc. It will leave a "clean spot" where it once was.

Also your tires might be out of round . This will also cause vibration and shaking . If your tires are out of round you will need to get new ones

If you took off all those little weights, you'll probably have to have your wheels/tires staticly balanced again.

Just go for the rebalance dude. It's not too expensive. Get them speed balanced though, not static. If you still have the problem, let us know.
