info on the car:

ef hatch was d15b2, just swapped in a jdm d15b vtec to be run on obd0.

dpfi to mpfi.

originally used a pm6 and the car ran fine.

turned the car off to install what i was told was a jdm zc ecu. the car would no longer start, checked for spark, no spark.

car has brand new dist.

did all continuity checks on the ignitor leads and the secondary coil leads.

throws a code 20 but i swapped out the fuse box and still same code and same problem.

checked all fuses everywhere.

checked all grounds and even added a few more.

tried two different pm6's and still no spark.

at my wits end, please help.

 

well figured it out, changed distributors and back to the pm6 fired right up. weird, not sure why the zc ecu caused that to happen but im not about to find out.
