So i am about to buy a new clutch for my boosted d-series and i am in a debate about what i should go with,. an xtreme pp with a performance street disc or a 6 puck disc? i have heard from a few people that a full face street disc is not suitable for daily driving and launches at the track on slicks, but i would like some input from people actually running this clutch at the track. my current power level is around 220whp on my d.

what i'm saying is that i heard that a street disc wasn't good for holding up to launches on the track with slicks.

^^^that is what i have heard from some people, but then i have heard from others that a full face street disc will be alright. anybody else with some experience on this subject? to the guy above, have you actually had experience with this?
I've had both, I'm currently using the 6 puck and dont see what the big deal is as far as streetability. It's not that bad.
If you drive the car to work every day than you might get annoyed with the 6 puck.
It really depends on your personal pussification factor.

i had a six puck and i liked the feel of it and it wasn't that bad but the clutch disc got hot and seized itself to the flywheel and pressure plate. the guy at act told me it was probably because it got to hot from it being slipped. he said he would look into getting a street disc, but i thought that the six puck disc was made for racing apps so it shouldn't over heat like that.
