Hey i have searched with no luck..... My friend owns an 94 EG6 that is RHD... it has the stock B16 and everything apperas JDM but how can you know for sure if it isnt a conversion??????????? PLease help me and my friend..... Much thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

look at the door jams should say eg6 somewhere if its real. us cars are eh. like my 93 si is a EH3.

 

does it have usdm vin?

 

ummm ya i know under the hood it has the BLue Stamp in japanese that says EG6 and all the interior is purple-blue tweed.... It has the powerfolding mirrors and the Tatami looking back seats and gathers honda audio.... does the blue stamp prove its authentic???

door sill would confirm it, If it was jdm. plus JDM car have a bronze tint to it also.

 

ya i know that one but i think the guy said that he had to change to new glass to pass DOT to have it registerd... so thats what makes it so hard.

Hey ok should the door sill be all in japanese???? cuzz one door has 2 tags in japanese and the other door says made by honda of canada... what does this mean???

It means your import is from Canada. That's mad CDM y0!!!!

I dunno, but I doubt that it would say Honda of Canada on any part of the car just because someone wanted to add it on. It probably came that way from the Canadian factory it was made in.

Anywho, props to the previous owner for his/her dedication to making that car as JDM as possible, that's some serious devotion.

 

Ya i think what happend is the original owner bought it as a "Kit and imported it to canade where he put canada vins on also..... Im waiting to hear back to him but every freking part on here is JDM ... so really cant c it being a conversion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like if it was a conversion this dude should get an award

Mine says something about Canada. USDM civics in '92-'95 (most of them anyway) were produced in Canada.

Take a picture of the stickers in the door sill.

 

(US) 98% of RHD HONDA's are converted and other 2% are legit

 

NO never mind i talked to the owner.... the reason it has jdm and Usdm vins is because to legalize he put Canada vins on... He has all the importin papers

-It is imperitive, now that you have just confirmed that your car is GENUINE JDM, that you get every layer of security EVER.

he is going to need a 6ft thick bunker with blast doors anti car jacking equipment from South Africa the lethal type and never get out of the car even then I don't think he will be able to keep it safe
