o2 sensor should be disabled when tuning so a new one wont help anything.
make sure the front tires are in good shape and properly inflated. check ball joints and bushings, tie rods, lug nuts etc.
make sure you have plenty of whatever fuel you are running
pressure test your whole setup from the turbo inlet to the head to well over the boost you may run.
clean out your interior just as a courtesy to the tuner. no one wants to sit next to your 2 day old mcnuggets a full ashtray for 4 hours.
set base timing
bring a couple sets of extra plugs in whatever heat range(s) you might need
make sure there is no half *** wiring
fix exhaust leaks
bring more money than they told you and be prepared to spend it
make ecu accessible if needed to tune
-thats all i got right now-

Most tuners disable the o2 sensor and put in their own to tune the car.
I can't imagine anyone tuning with the stock one enabled.
