Default Dpfi to odb1 Ls wiring question

Ok before you guys start saying use the search methond I did and this is what I found.
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1814292
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1797137
I have a the following that I plan on putting in a 88 crx dx:
B18a obd0 (I believe)
LS odb1 wiring harness
LS odb1 distributor
89 CRX Hf resistor box
p75 odb 1 ecu

#1 If I by the boomslang dpfi to odb1 conversion could I just use the LS wiring harness and plice the wires? Or will i still need to get a SI/Hf wiring harness?
#2 Will the stock injectors work or will I need to use the resistor box?

I need to know as soon as possible. I'm trying to have this up and running for the meet on the 23rd. Any help will be plentiful. Thank you.

you cant use any other harness but the one on the car. you have to make it work.
and you dont need a resistior box for obd1 injectors.

So you are saying I cant you use this http://www.boomslang.us/obd0to1.htm and use the LS engine harness connectors? I have to do a mpfi conversion and then a LS wirng conversion.

dx = 2 injectors

LS = 4 injectors

the slang will work, but you still have to modify your dx wire harness for the extra injectors, when you have completed it, you will have 2-3 extra plugs.(DX has some plugs that are not needed for mpfi)

http://www.rywire.com are going to do my engine harness, and obd1 conversion for my B16a swap soon as i get my B16a. $300 but well worth it imho. They know their wiring, and I suck at it. better them doing it for me, than me doing it for myself.

if you use your obd0 injectors it needs to be wired in. if you use the obd1 injectors you won't need the resistor box.

go with the obd1 injectors. then you don't have to wire in the resistor box.

Ok. But what about the o2 sensor? Won't I have to switch to the 5 wire when I do the swap?

odb = ol' dirty bastard (RIP)
obd = onboard diagnostics

and yes you need to wire up a 4-wire oxygen sensor when you convert to obd1

Damn. I thought I was so close to being done too. Well I went online to see where it would be and I found out that there is in Integra nearby that my have one. If it is an OBDII would could I use that O2 if not. Could I pinch one from an OBD1 civic instead?

you can use an o2 sensor from any 92-95 honda/acura.

not sure if an obd2 sensor would work or not

Woould it be wise for me to grab one from a car in the junkyard and then clean it? Or should I just by a new one?

i'd prefer to get a new one, but that's my preference. Some don't mind getting used ones. they are not that expensive. considering how long they should last.

Buy it and forget about it for 5+ years.
