mbc and 2 ports on wastegate?

Default mbc and 2 ports on wastegate?

ive seen 2 ways of installing a mbc , one using 1 port and one using 2 ports , how is every one running theres , ive tried it inline to the side port and holds 8psi then falls to 4 as the revs raise . any help would be great ?

You have to figure out which port actuates the WG. Usually its the lower one (closer to valve), as that pushes on the diaphragm to open it. The only reason an electronic boost controller uses 2 ports on the WG is to add pressure to keep the wg closed completely, and allow for finer tuning. Sounds like something else is wrong if you loost 4lbs of boost - is your WG's diaphragm ripped? SSAuto maybe?

yeah u guessed it xspower wastegate (ssauto), and a cheepo ball and spring type mbc , think i will just have to buy a tial and see how things go.

you should make sure the diaphram isnt pinched inside the wastegate. if so just buy a new diaphram. my ss autoshit wastegate works fine...... maybe its the tial spring in it i lways rub wd40 or something on the diaphram and the inside of the upper housing when putting the wastegate together. that way the diaphram slides in without pinching. good luck
