Default CEL... I think !?!? ( Video inside )

Ok, so my SRS light has been on for awhile never thought anything of it till now when i tried to see if im getting codes and got the following :



someone before must have messed the **** but i believe im getting :

92 EVAP Solenoid/Valve/Vacuum Lines

Any quick fixes ?? Im searching as i right this

Quick note : It idles right around 1k, i have noticed that while it's warming up it sometimes dips to about 100 rpms but when i drive it's good.

That is not a CEL (Check Engine Light). That is your SRS light. It's flashing to tell you there is a fault in your system.

so it's flashes when i jumped the plug exactly the way the CEL is supposed to but it's not a code ?? Nine long flashes and Two short flashes ??

On another note in the video your CEL never turns on. Does it ever turn on when the cars in the ON position?

no the CEL never comes on, it seems that someone fu%ked with it before i got the car... The SRS light is always on and when i jump the Jumper plug the SRS light is the one that flashes.

When you turn your car to ON position does the SRS come on then turn off then back on solid? If so then i think someone changed the SRS to be the CEL.

The purge control solenoid is for emissions. What motor/ecu are you using?

Yea is does.... I have a 95 B18C right now using a p28

If your using a P28 (chipped right?) it wont be looking for a code 92. Try resetting the ecu and see if the SRS stays off when you turn it to the ON position without starting the car.

is it possable that somone switched somthing in the back of your dash cluster? im just givin you ideas. cause i never saw the back of my cluster.
