Default gsr cam question

I have a gsr engine that I'm going to build for higher boost and power next summer or so.

I've been doing searching and reading and from what I've read, a lot of people recommend either GSR or TYPE R cams in a turbo setup.
If I wanted to use my gsr cams, how high would I be able to rev assuming I have a fully built head? (port and polish, valves, valvesprings, retainers, all that jazz)

About when will they stop making power?

I would wait and see how the tune goes, but if I need to upgrade, I'd rather be able to upgrade them before I finish assembling everything.

I plan on around 400 whp. Would prefer a higher redline, maybe 9500-10k.
I dont wanna have to shift into 5th If I dont have to if going down the 1/4 strip.

I did some searching, couldnt find anything about gsr cams max rpm on a built head, only on a nonbuilt.

Ill have a chipped p28, so no rev limiter.

Thanks everyone.

on my built b16, gsr cams, my peak power was 9800. it was still making a little power that high, just didnt want to kill it, wanted to have some fun. no anti lag launching at 8200, shifting 94-9600. trapping 8800ish? made 540 wheel.

Wow, that's pretty impressive that the GSR cams still made power that high up!!

Sounds like the GSR cam's will be just fine. If money isn't a thing for you and you reeeeally want to make some serious power all throughout the powerband, get some Buddy Club Spec III cams--perfect for turbo, smooth as butter, and DAMN do they pull!

That's some serious power out of a B16--how much PSI, and what kind of exhaust mani you got?

Yeah, I thought about it more, and it's a wise decision not to rag on it too high up there in the RPM range. That's a lot of PSI, RPM, and HP on a liiiiittle block, so it's smart not to push it!
