The setting for the 5bar map sensor on the s300, are those the specs for the AEM 5bar map or a differnt sensor?

Looking to upgrade from my 3bar cuz it was maxxed out on the dyno.

 

any info I want to order one tonight so I can go back to finish tunning

 

how much boost? i will max out a 3 bar, but my turbo will probably top out at 3.5. thats what evans suggested to me for my setup. damn july 27 is coming fast.

 

Yes, the 5 bar settings in the s300 will work with the AEM sensor. I wouldn't bother with a 3.5 bar, if not now, at some point in the future it will be maxed out again. Just get the 5 bar and be done with it. Some will argue that you loose some resolution, but i don't believe that it makes a difference. You don't need a ton of resolution in the MAP rows, for the most part it's a simple double air double fuel calculation. I map my race car every 50kpa (7ish psi).

 

havent purchased yet tony, so i will talk to jeff and go from there. i thought the same with resolution, but you are correct in the future, with a t4 frame, i will probably exceed the 3.5, thats why i was asking about how much boost he was running. but it makes sense.

 

we have a car here right now with a 5 bar and a gt28 lol

 

Right now im running 27psi but the turbo still had room to make more power, so we stop the tune till I get the bigger map, I would be close to maxing out a 3.5 also, that why I wanted to just go with the 5bar to have room to grow espicailly after I go with a bigger turbo later down the road.

Just want to make sure that the s300 can run with a AEM 5bar for sure so I can make the order. Any good place's to scoop one up from?
