I was just wondering how it fares? I was thinking of swapping this engine. How does the engine perform in your Hatch????

I have one...97 LS on a 88 DX hatch...JDM 4-1 header, lightened flywheel, AEM CAI...haven't gone to the track too, but killed a 93 Mustang 5.0 from 1st to 3rd gear...traffic light to traffic light, about 3 car length...I can still see his face in disbelief that a sleeper put his 5.0 to sleep...hahaha...Just wait til I get my n/a LS/Vtec in the works...

I would deff get an LS engine. You can always go LS/VTEC later.

i had one with i/h/e and some crower stage 3 camshafts. it ran a 15.0 @ 90 mph but it had a broken camshaft bearing that i didn't know about. dyno numbers came in at 143 @ 6800 rpm before the bearing broke. good motor to play with. piece.
