Default Car wont start after tranny swap

READ THE LAST POST

99 civic, p28 ostrich -> crome.

I just put in a new tranny. I painted it first and sanded the main tranny ground to new metal.

The car cranks, everything seems to have power, it even gets a little bit of combustion but it is running kind of like the ignition timing has no idea whats going on. I'm throwing code 4 for CKP every time if I crank it over a 5 times or so, sometimes if I crank it longer it will throw some other random codes like ECT/TPS and some other stuff randomly, and with no consistency. Code 4 comes up every time.

I'm using a resistor pack so I dont want to put my stock injectors back in and see if it will start w/ stock ecu, but I will do that tomorrow if the problem isn't solved by then.

I'm sure there may be more info you may find useful and I would love to provide it!

Thanks

So the ONLY thing you did was take out the transmission and put a transmission in?

Well no, and i was hoping to find out some great info about the mechanical side of my car.

Earlier that day when trying to start a friends car for the first time, he had a solid cel. So we went to get my ostrich/ecu. he had a power mixed up with a signal wire and heated up my ecu to the point where it was billowing smoke. (of course i cut the power as soon as I realized what was going on).

I have a spare socketed p28 and the car runs the exact same with both of them. I only have access to my friends DOA ostrich and mine, so I don't know how to figure out what the problem is without removing my resistor pack... which is the plan for tomorrow.

Aside- can I tap high impedance obd2 injectors into the injector wiring before the resistors, and let the resistors and obd1 clips dangle?

I also relocated my map sensor, but I would figure the car might want to throw a MAP code for something like that.

This is the continuation of my tranny thread (that had so many replies). The problem has been narrowed down and this thread will be more specific and hopefully help anyone who searches across this thread.

The car starts right up with a stock ECU/injectors. As soon as I put the harness, ostrich, and obd1ecu in the car will not start.

I plugged my rig into a friends OBDI car that had TPS and IAT switched, and apparently that has sent power to a number of H-Ter's ecu's and built up a ton of heat in one of the circuits. This could have damaged the ECU or the ostrich. When i pulled the ecu, I suppose I could have damaged the harness.

Thus the problem is either:
1) My conversion harness (could have been damaged during the bagillionth ecu pulling)
2) My ecu (was fried, but the problem is the same with a different ecu)
3) My ostrich (was connected to the ecu when it fried)

Knowing I get code 4 (CKP) every time and a number of other codes like IAT/ECT/TPS appear randomly if I continue to crank the motor, what could the problem be?

Any insight will be much needed and well received!

My ostrich/harness/ecu with my car and it doesn't start. It gives the CEL's as I said.

My ostrich/ecu on my friends OBD1 car, and it gives it a solid cel. WTF is up with that?
