Default Transmission fluid on B16A2

Where do I put it in at? I need to add some but transmissions aren't my forte. A picture might be nice too. I appreciate any help. Something as simple as this makes me feel liek such a noob.

do I have to remove the tranny to fill it? I just need to add some until I can get the leak fixed (bad differential).

Of course you don't have to remove the tranny. Just fill it up. It takes about 1.9qt's of fluid.

oK , it just looks by the pics that it would leak out if I tried to fill it attached. Looks the fill hole is on the side toward the bottom.

Fill from the VSS hole on top.

Look on your transmission. There should be two sensors. One screws in like an O2 sensor, and that's your Backup Sensor. The other is your VSS. It should be held in with three 10mm bolts. Remove them, and just pull it out. It should look like a black box.

the way to tell when ur tranny is filled correctly is to take off the fill plug on the side of the tranny and pour tranny fluid in until it starts to leak out the side fill plug..onces it starts leakin out then just plug and it ur good to go

hey bro

http://www.diyimports.com/mtfprint.html

look at this i followed this write up and did it in 30 min's im only 16

have no real mechanical experience and to top it off i did it farely smoothly

just rememberto unbolt the filler hole first...this is a must because say you cant unbolt the top filler hole and you drain it first your screwed and have no way to refill tranny fluid...

also make sure you fill threw top drain hole until it starts coming outt the filler hole THEN YOU STOP....AND WALA YOUR DONE...

p.s.if it's not too much to ask check the sig

I just get a funnel and some heater hose and I don't have to mess with the vss at all.
