It's a decent motor, but put any real power through it on a turbo and it won't last as well as an F22 would. Plus F22 has a bigger aftermarket following.

What kind of sleeves are in the F22? And fi you are going to build a motor for boost, why choose an F23 when you can add iron sleeves to an F22?

The F23 is a great motor if you plan on building it for boost.

T3/To4e 63 AR at 17-18 psi my motor made 364ph 350ftlb.

They can't handle as much boost as the F22. I believe the reason was they switched to a different piston ring and the design was weaker on the 23 vs 22.

You can put a decent amount of power (250hp, maybe 7-8 psi) through a 23, but not as much as you could with a 22.
