Default That annoying Navi message

Sup people. Nu here to this site. I need some info on if it is possible to shut off that navigation greeting that always pops up whenever i start the car. According to the manual, you CAN'T!!! I refuse to believe that's that. Anyone here got any real advice?

Grab your manual, follow the instructions to change the message. Try making it blank and saving it. See if that works.

I actually HAVE looked at & read the manual as it pertains to the navi and all it says that its there to make you aware not to stare at it too much while you're driving and that it can/may distract you.

How can it NOT distract you when you turn your car on? Especially at night, freakin bright.
I hate the greeting message as well... And if you go don't hit "ok" first you can't get your Navi to stay on the screen for too long. on that part of the navi design...

Is there anyway to get Bluetooth into this car? Thats a question I've been wondering. I use it all the time in my Brother 07 G35S. Its pimp.

You can get a Parrot or Rosen bluetooth kit, looks like they might be offering it in future models of Hondas

You can just dim the navi down if it is too bright!

You cannot remove that disclaimer without a custom hack.

I had the warning hacked by my buddy rob that changed the disclaimer to a custom message that we wrote up in my TSX.
On his TL via Acurazine there is a "code/custom hack" that someone created that will AUTOMATICALLY hit ok for you upon startup and the hacker added his websites url to the disclaimer.

The code was very tricky even for the TSX, if you mess up one box of it. you'll crash the navi and need to reload the original disk again.

Motrola has a bluetooth car unit and its kinda hefty on the price. What would you use the bluetooth for? The purpose i'd like to have it for is so i can stream media and 1club.fm from my tmobile dash.

no. all these "screen" hacks and data hacks are loaded off the drives.
when you wanna "clear" what you did
you just put back the OEM navi disc and reload the "oem settings" and whatever you did is cleared perm. from the unit.
