Default Mph speedometer doesnt work but rpm does..

Hey guys,
I used to drive a Integra LS but I traded it with my friend for a Del Sol B18.. which is okay since it didn't get a ECU change still running off D16.. but the problem is that the RPM is working but my MPH is dead..i would think its wiring problem.. or the speed sensor is bad.. but it seem odd because the rpm is surely running... could it be the speedometer itself is bad and just need a different one?.. it been like that ever since it got swapped to b18

someone correct me if im wrong but its prolly speed sensor if not that maybe a certain wire on the loom going specifcly to the gauge cluster (highly unlikely) its either one or two seperate plugs should be easy to check out. and if not that maybe the cluster was droped and a circuit in theyre is fucked up?. check the speed sensor first.

im pretty sure if it was the vss you would be throwing a cel, does the spedo work at all? try swapping clusters to see if this solves the issue.

speed is read from VSS
RPM is read from the dizzy

check your vss first
