check engine light
my speedo has quite working along with my vtec check codes and am only gettin a vss code number 17 why would my speedo not allow my vtec to work is it a totally separate problem im not seeing any help would be great

Check the connection on the VSS. If it is not the connection, then replace the VSS, and it should fix all your problems.
If the car loses it's speed reference, VTEC will not engage. Check out this thread:
