Default 2 simple question

oil leaking from head and block on h22.. i know its the headgasket but will it cause compression lost.. and what about is there a chance that oil and coolant might mix or no? just the gasket isn't seated right? right?

also which valve is hotter.. intake or exhaust.. i'l say exhaust since its letting hot burnt air oout,.. but intake could be hot during power stroke.

if the head gasket is leaking you will lose compression. Depending on where the gasket is broken, the oil can leak into the coolant passage, or vise versa, the coolant can leak into the oil pan.

Both valves are the same temp since they are both in the combustion chamber, and are both exposed to the compression and ignition of the fuel.

Dude, ive dicussed all of this with you via IM like a month ago. LOL.

And yes you will probally find a mix of coolant/oil. If your getting coolant in your oil id fix the HG asap. The water will rust the bearings and your bottomend will be toast.

i did compression test and all the numbers are good.. doesmn't misfire or run rough.. explain how i lose compression when all its doing is letting oil seep out of the gasket..

Dude i explained it to you before.

In the case of a blown head gasket burning/leaking, excange of oil/coolant. Theres a small gap between the head, HG, and the block. Thus creating a small passage (thousanths of an inch) for the compressed gases to leak through. Your compression may seem to be good with a normal compression test but you can really tell with a leak down test.

Get a new HG and get your head milled (60-80 bucks). And your set!
