Well, the guys in the EF forum probably know better since they do that swap.

the z6 doesn't have a map sensor, so just leave it unplugged.

Sure the z6 has a map sensor

The older hondas had maps that were firewall mounted, with a vacuum line atop the TB, right?
Well later, maps were installed directly on top of the TB itself - thats what your holes are.
You could probably just tap the center hole and add a brass barb fitting. (it would probably have to be NPT tap'd since I dont know too many std size threaded fittings)
That way, you could attach a vac line from your firewall map

^^ that's right, it didn't occur to me they're usually mounted on the firewall.

So it's likely he can just swap his old map sensor or get a new one and put it on the mounting holes on the TB.

i really dont know if a new-style map is an option - the connectors may be different
easy to get a map
hard to get a connector

Honda map sensors are the same. They run on voltage signals.

Only differences are some are firewall mounted and some are TB mounted.

That, and obd0 MAP sensors (Honda 1.75bar) have a slightly different diaphram style, and read a little less max boost. Your stock MAP will work fine as long as the vacuum line is hooked to the manifold. The FPR line is fine to tee off of, as long as its not a very modified 'beast' of a motor, as much as a D16 can be. I'd just take a chunk of 1/8" aluminum (road signs are perfect for this) and an o-ring, then get some metric screws to bolt it over the center hole. They're like M5x0.6 or some oddball size.
