Default did u keep ur power steering ?

car:92 integra ls

swapping:jdm itr swap with innovative mount kit and cable to hydro

problem:i want to keep my power steering, but the original power steering bracket from the b18a doesnt seem to work with the itr swap.
basically the 2 holes to thread the bolts is much farther apart on the b18c then it is on the b18a.

all of u guys that swapped ur 90-93 integras and kept ur power steering, what bracket did u use inorder to retain ur orginal ps pump???????
any input is appreciated.

p.s.
i do have the itr ps pump and bracket that came with the swap, but i cant connect the hose to the itr pump because it is slightly different.

and i dont think use the itr ps pump bracket with the b18a ps pump will work either, seem a bit off also.

any input?

For a car like a DA, personally power steering is not even needed. I am probably the only one who does not use power steering. Its not even bad. Integs are so light anyways its not even hard to steer with out it. try it and see for your self. its hard to turn when your at a stop but once the car is moving the slightest bit its easy from there. and actuall will give you more power because your engine does not have to move more stuf. same thing with air conditioning so if you dont use those your motor puts all its power to the wheels and wheels only. it doesnt need to run anything else

Get the padawan ps removal kit

Otherwise, my brother had to use a B16 powersteering bracket for his VTEC swap in his DA.
