kk well im going to be using a z6 head on y7 block. i got the head with intake manifold and a dizzy. my question is can i use the fuel rail, fuel injectors and throttle body from the y7???

 

i would just buy the new stuff even if u could use the y7 stuff. get either stock or aftermarket. a skunk2 manifold is like 225 on robearracng.com
dont rush things b/c it turns out rigged,unreliable, and lookin horrible.

 

you will want to use the intake manifold from the z6, throttle body from the y7 is fine; y7 injectors are supposed to be 190cc while z6 are 240cc so no on the y7's; im not sure about fuel rail. dont forget the ecu and iacv fix depending on what car you are working with.

 

i have the ecu already.. oh yeah what about the timing belt should i get one for the z6??

 

yes, everything will work, and all the pllugs are the same on the vtec head as they are on a non vtec, be sure u pulll out the oil plug from the intake side of the block, and get a vtec timing belt... u should be all set
