question on oil restrictor placement

Default question on oil restrictor placement

where would it be better to put a oil restrictor, on the turbo or right where i tee off my oil feed. just wondering which is better or if there is even i deference.

I put mine right at the turbocharger. I'm trying to think if it would be harmful if placed before the oil feed line.

Only downfall I can see with placing it pre-feed line is that while your engine is trying to build oil pressure during starting the oil will fill the feed line at a MUCH slower rate and your turbocharger will already be spinning causing bearing damage(that is if all the oil in the feed line drains while its shut off) which could be wrong...IDK.

anybody else?

I agree with at the turbo. You don't want the feed line to be restricted only at the turbo.
