I was looking on a jdm engine site and there was an extra option to buy a LSD transmission. I never heard of it, if anybody knows anything about this.
I'd really appriciate the help.

And anything labled type-r in the original car it came in.

Some JDM gsr's preludes/accords came with factory LSD.

The rest of the world looks at compact performance a lot differently than america.

It's rumored that a few select d-series cable trannies came with lsd back when the D was fast for it's day.

 

I think some of the D15 VTEC motors actually did, I know there is a place near me over in paterson where im purchasing my new motor. They give you the option to purchase an auto, manual, or LSD manual trans but im not sure if they install the LSD themselves.

 

LSD helps your tires rotate properly at the same time, therefore you get more traction :]

 

to tell if any b-series tranny is equipped with Lsd look through the differential hole.
If you see that the diff hole is totally hollow, with no obstruction in the way, the tranny is LSD equipped.
If the diff hole is not hollow and has a bar through the middle then no LSD is equipped
