compression test done

Default compression test done

i did a compression test on my b18b today it came out 180 in cylinders 1,2 and 210 in 3,4 . anyone got any comments on this?

seems decent. usually you look for a max 10% difference between the lowest number and the highest number. your at about 14% but that aint bad.

what woud u say about boosting this motor with this compression not really worrying about it blowing up i just want something to mess around with while i build a motor for the car

ive boosted motors with much worse compression. **** last year my compression in my lsvtec was 180-190-120-180 haha still made over 300hp, ran 12s and ran fine the day i took it apart. just get a good tune.

if anything is going on, you might have a hg issue between the 2 cyls. if your gonna boosst wouldnt be a bad idea to get some headstuds and a new hg anyway.

yea i was plannin on gettin the head studs and a cometic headgasket maybe a 2 mm or possibly even a 3 mm on to lower my compression a good amount

you dont need lower compression. the 9.2:1 static in a b18b is fine
