CTR EK9 Mirrors on EM1
any mirrors from any 96-00 civic coupe/hatch are interchangeable.
Make sure you get some LHD glass, because you won't see squat out of your RHD mirrors.

LHD glass you can get from any country that had civic's (except america.)
As far as I know every other civic in the world got the folding mirrors whether the be powered, heated, power folding, etc etc.
US was the only country to get the dumbo ears to my knowledge.
Turkey is LHD, france is too. You'll just have to source some out. Or stick with your rear viewmirror and the limited vision you get from the RHD mirrors.
CTR mirrors are played out IMO.

I didn't know glass shops could convex glass, figures though. Good point.

how come it makes a difference if it is RHD mirror or a LHD mirror. dont they all serve the same purpose?? i am asking cuz i thought a mirror was just a mirror, regardless of RHD, LHD, or anything.
are the CTR mirrors any different from a regular mirror??

The mirror that's opposite you is supposed to be convex (magnified) so you can actually see out of it.
That's which you can't see anything out of a left JDM mirror on a usdm car.

I understand that, but my passenger side mirror functions fine, maybe not magnified but I can see traffic fine with out changing position, driver side kinda sucks, but I have gotten used to it. I would like to find out how to remove the mirror and put a new one in, anyone know how? thanks

Actually, it's that coupe and hatch mirrors are interchangeable. Sedan mirrors will not fit on a coupe or hatch or visa versa.

I do that all the time, i forget to take 96-00 4 doors into consideration because so few people mod them... My bad.

Of course, overseas, the sedan is very popular because coupes are rare.

Yes, as far as the bodies we get in the US, the coupe is the rarest throughout the world. Other even less common 6th gen bodies (which the US doesn't even get) are the five door and the Aerodeck.

No. EK9 (Civic Type R) is Japan only. EK4 (SiR or VTi usually) are all over the world, but most often you hear about the Asian market ones or the European market ones.
Their mirrors are the same, though the glass can be for LHD or RHD for the EK4s while it's only RHD for the EK9s.

No, EK4s didn't come in the US.
6G USDM Civic chassis codes (these are ALL of them. There are NO EK chassis in the US.):
EJ6 - SOHC non-VTEC - CX (3dr); DX (2dr/3dr/4dr); LX (4dr)
EJ7 - SOHC VTEC-E - HX (2dr)
EJ8 - SOHC VTEC - EX (2dr/4dr)
EM1 - DOHC VTEC - Si (2dr)
EN1 - SOHC VTEC CNG - GX (4dr)
There are no EK4s or any other EK sold originally in the US.

Please, the EK4 is not strictly JDM. The EK4 is definitly not and never was USDM. Check the link in my sig for chassis codes for more information.
And I have no clue what you're talking about as fara as EK9 mirrors having different styles. Stock EK9 mirrors (and all other JDM and EDM 6th gen mirrors) all LOOK THE SAME. Only difference is the options they can come with (though they're all folding, not all are power folding for example) and that in Japan they're all RHD and in Europe only some are RHD, but most are LHD.
