Injectors Help!!! running lean... running rich....???
hey guys,
i got a h22 in my hatch
but i got the swap with no injectors.
so for the mean time I could only get some 390cc eclipse auto injectors.
would it be a problem to run the motor on these, untill my 345cc injectors get here.
It fires up fine, idles a lil high on startup. but smooths down to 1k.
when i get past 3.5k it breaks up and bogs....is that a fuel overload?
I put in some stock accord injectors and the car feels stock, revs out and idles perfect. but after driving for like 3 days, i pulled my plugs and there white. lean as hell?
so or the mean time, should i stick with the 390's and keep it under 3k, or use the 240's and keep it under 3k?
95 h22 with p13---no o2 and no knock sensor.
awaiting my 345cc's from a member on here, and then tune on chrome.

wait it has no o2 sensor on it. that alone will make the car run strange. between the two i would run the 390's i would rather be rich than lean.
Yup, h22a1 engines are pretty sensitive to O-2 Sensors. Enplug and cap and the car would run like ****. Get the sensor back on and use the 390cc injectors in the mean time.

how is a h22 any different than other engines?
your running in open loop the whole time if you dont have an o2 sensor. You likely also have a Check Engine Light because the ecu will look for a primary o2.
dont expletive up your car. do it right. I can bet you money that you will still have a problem even after you put the 345cc injectors in there.

WOW.. how so?
I plan on dropping in the 345's. and tunning with chrome.
iam disable o2 and Knock sensor.
what kind of problems iam i going to get.

fyi, its CROME.
if you havent had part throttle tuned without the o2 sensor, then you need to run an o2 sensor. An o2 sensor helps maintain the fueling to stoich (14.7) while driving normally. The only reason i dont run o2 sensors on my car is because i have tuned from 0-8000 rpm/0-100% throttle.
knock sensor isnt a big deal for stock motors as long as you know what detonation or pinging sounds like.
when you are trying to find out something that is wrong with your car, use this bit of advice:
Fix what you know is wrong.

ok i see what you mean.
the reason iam disable o2, is because I have no plug for it on my harness.
I've tried to manually run it to the ecu, but i can't get it to work right without shielded wire.
But i have confidence in my tuner, he said i shouldn't need to worry about the o2, since he's giving me a full tune.
