Default Rear Subframe Separation?

Was just looking underneath my car and found what looks to be separation on the rear subframe, very concerned about this. What do you guys think? Maybe I'm too fast for the R.

Here's the left side which is what concerns me.

Here's the right side which seems to be holding up a lot better then the left side...

y0 c-man. To me it only looks like the seam sealer seperating. Is there a crack in the weld there?

Let me go get underneath it and check it out. If it is the sealer what do I do to fix it, same with it being a weld... Just re-weld it?

I would have a body shop reweld it if it is the weld. I palce my money on it being just the seam sealer. I used Honda bond to replace a small section like that before and it has held up.

Maybe some other OG's have some input here.

I can't even see what you're talking about.

If you mean those little gaps where the bends in the subframe and floor meet then thats normal. Every integra I've ever looked under has those gaps.

Will Honda Bond or something else keep it in place like it should be? It bugs me.

Silicon and Honda Bond will not mate metal surfaces, just seals them from fluid.

From the pictures Cory, I can not tell what you are pointing out? Nothing looks out of the ordinary?

Mike, in the first picture if you look right above the left side of the sway bar you'll see the separation.

No, just sat them there for the time being. I explained the area in question pretty clearly. Everything is fine now though thanks.

I was kind of pondering the same thing earlier. If it's actually possible I don't see why it would be overkill. Anyone know the answer to his question?

It is not needed on the R. Those kits are for the lesser Integras and Civics.

Saw your PM last night. I was asleep but I have been staying logged on around the clock for messages.
