Default what does it cost to get an ecu chipped?

i don't feel comfortable messing around inside an ecu.

so what does it cost to get someone to 'chip' it?

checked some websites but want the popular opinion...

you have 2 options.

1. send your ecu and have it chipped about $50-$75
2. buy a new ecu that has already been chipped $150. then sell your stocker recoup your $75-$100

either way i reccomend j-k-tuning (93turbo16) or phearable (mtber)

its about 75 to get your ecu socketed with a basemap... but then you have to tune it, that could be anywhere from a few hundered for dyno time if you tune it yourself to 600+ for neptune or something like that.
