Default Expo Noob.....what to bring?

What do you guys typically take to the track? It'll be my first HPDE and expo. This is what I have in mind:

Tools (all kinds just because)
Windex
Extra oil
Air gauge and appropriate other gauges
Zip Ties

What else is handy trackside? I'm not bringing my jack in hopes that if I need one I can borrow someone elses. Mines way too heavy to lug around. Fortunately my wife will be traveling in our Jeep behind me so I'll have plenty of room for stuff.

(If you're in the NE caravan I might have some extra room for stuff if you want to lighten the R's a little bit )

Oil filters to go with the oil, and plenty of Red Bull/Vodka for Mike and I.

Edit: And a back up wheel/tire or two.

Ohhhhh........forgot the spare tire. And stands. They'll be added to my list.

EDIT: Sorry Jun, I don't really drink, but the good news for you is who ever brings the vodka there will be more for you

Years ago I recall reading a very comprehensive "what to bring to an HPDE" either here or in RR/AX. Might have been "what to bring to an autocross," but the lists should be similar, with an emphasis on spares/fluids for HPDE.

Might be worth a search, I'll try later if I feel like it.

Funny all the remembered names I just saw from over the years just searching through the archives.

1-2 Weeks before:

Tune Up (Perform any regularly scheduled maintenance, and take care of any strange noises, vibrations, or leaks.)

Check for schedule updates

Night before:

Check Local website to make sure the event hasn't been cancelled

Directions (make sure you know where you are going, duh)

Money (at least enough for registration

Food

Water, lotsa water, fluids etc. & is for later and doesn't count.

Snacks, food unless you plan to leave the event and get lunch but you might miss your session.

Clothing (check the club/event rules and weather to see what is appropriate for driving etc.)

Helmet

Tire Pressure Gauge

Air Tank (filled) - or - compressor

Motor Oil (and any other fluids that may be necessary)

Numbers - or - White Shoe Polish (most event holders have shoe polish... I just hate running around looking for it.

Remove Center Caps - or - Hub Caps

Chalk (optional for marking the sidewalls of your tires)

Gas (make sure you fill up right before driving to the event or even have gas cans filled when you get there)

Clean out car (all change, trash, floor mats, snot rags, CDs, etc.)

Tools

Jack (if necessary)

Brake pads (bring an extra set for Track Day Events)

Tarp (optional)

Milk Crate or Large "Rubbermaid" Tub with a lid (use this to put everything taken out of your car once there. The Tub works best for inclement weather.)

Camera/Video

Medications

For the "pros": (and/or)

Adjust suspension

Bring race tires and wheels

Load Car on Trailer

Check trailer - brake lights and/or brakes, tire pressures

Check battery

Check fluids

Race Suit/Gloves/Shoes/Neck brace

At the "Track":

Register

Clean out car (see "Night before" section)

Remove spare tire (optional)

Pay attention in class and review the track map

Tech. Inspection

Pay attention in class and review the track map

Adjust Tire Pressure

Oh and did I mention... Pay attention in class and review the track map

Staging/Working/Racing/B.S.ing

Make sure Lugs are tight (do this after returning to the pits as well)

Before you leave

Clean up, repack

Readjust tire pressure (suspension if necessary)

Check Lug Nuts

******* HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE! ********

88 rex you got all that? I'm not a hard drinker either, I actually don't drink anymore, but Expo doesn't count!

Definitely a list I am going to copy and paste to notepad and print.

Hope to see everyone there without any hitches!
