Damn... I've been doing this >30 events and haven't ever bought gas cans. I just drive to the gas station 5 minutes away.
In addition to Brian's suggestions...
Bring: snacks, hat, clean shirt (cause it's nice to put something clean on for the drive home), rain gear so it won't rain, open mind.
Leave at home: Ego
Edit - Did anyone mention water?

I used this list to go by my first time (from the No Gum Racing site no less):
http://www.nogumracing.com/technical/TrackSupplies.html
the things I actually have used so far (two events) are:
racing tape (suprised that NAPA stocks this)
torque wrench
1 gallon water/day for drinking
spray bottle of water
spray bottle of 20% simple green
windex wipes
vacuum pump brake bleeder & fluid
big rubbermaid container
camera
chair
tarp
jackstands to go on tarp
random tools
dooooooooonuts
dress in layers

Or use the pumps at the track. They have CC payment, so they're open all day.
Isn't 106 leaded? Will that farq up your O2 sensors?

Sunoco Race Fuels are unleaded.
CAM2 IS leaded and it is unfriendly to O2s but the real enemy is the catalytic converter. Leaded gas will destroy and clog one in a matter of minutes. It basically melts the catalyst and welds the converter shut. It is kinda funny to watch the car run like that if it runs at all . . .

Also, be sure to bring a spare set of brake pads, i carry a set of cheapo napa pads just in case.
as far as the cam 2 goes, i put a veeeery small amount in, like maybe 5 teaspoons worth (drag racing thing, ecko racing boys gave it to me, i ffigured what the hell), don't think that hurt anything, do you? car seems to run fine.

Some of the stuff I bring:
sunglasses (twilight and early morning can be harsh)
tools (screwdrivers, Big F'in Hammer, pry bar, sockets/rachets, wrenches, etc)
flashlight w/ spare batteries (in case you get stuck fixing stuff)
oil, brake fluid
hand cleaner and rags (GoJo and those paper/fabric disposable rags work well)
water (rehydrate your body and your overtaxed cooling system)
gatorade/juice (water is boring)
semi-healthy snack food (chocolate kisses don't hack it)
beer (does Speedtrial use a beer flag?)
Stuf I've needed but didn't have:
Easy outs
engine
clutch
radiator
really long screwdrivers
rebuilt carb
Stuff I fully expect to need this year (but still won't bring):
complete rear end (housing, diff, axles, etc)
transmission
tension rods (radius rods)
spindles/shock towers
Can you tell I drive a 20 year old race car?

Gas at VIR is EXPENSIVE!
93 octane was $2.25 and 100 was $4.xx
This was my list and I forgot to bring somethings too:
-clothing for warm weather and cold weather. It was beautiful on Saturday, but -Grumpy forgot to order two days of 55 degrees
Sunday was down right NIPPY!
-lots of water and Gatorade - being dehydrate will make you loose your concentration. I drank about 2 gallons of the stuff on Sat/Sun.
-tools tools tools
-extra set of brake pads
-brake fluid
-1-2 quarts of oil
-tire pressure gauge
-portable air (tank or compressor)
-torque wrench (kinda redunant) for your lugs
-food
-Painter's tape - to tape up your headlights
When you get there take everything out. I took out my stereo faceplate too (just incase), floor mats, any loose items
Make sure you fill up before you attend the track. Running out of gas on track is embarrassing
Check all your fluids and even do an oil change before the event
Set tire pressures to around 35-39psi
And just remember to relax and have fun

I wouldn't call a torque wrench redundant. I don't know if you checked your lugnuts before going out each session, but it's surprising how much you need to re-torque. Especially in the front, I was torqueing down about a quarter turn each session back to the desired 80 ft./lb.
gas can = stinky ITR...
bed those brake pads in before you get here!
plastic tarp is your friend

-who will be beding pads this evening

Thursday night.... hit an open road and give them a good stomping... http://www.carbotecheng.com/faq-pad-q3.htm
park the car and let the pads cool off over night.
Friday... drive on down and use as normal (with some testing)
Satuday... make your eye ***** pop out of your head.
