1' cut in tire
theres a 1' cut in my rear tire. its about a 1' long and looks like a 1' deep. brand new tire about less than 20,000 miles on it. should i be worry about the cut getting bigger as i drive?
I guess you actually mean 1 inch long and 1 inch deep?
if its 1 ft deep thatd be all the way through.
Even if it was 1 inch deep itd be pretty much all the way through....
is it just like a tiny little slit in the tread? or what?

One inch is deeper than the thickness of a tire all the way through.
If you have a big gouge in the place where the sidewall meets the tread, the tire should be discarded. It's unsafe.
You can take it to your local tire shop. They will tell you the same thing.
If it's just a tiny chunk of rubber, though, it might not be a big deal.
Got pix?

Id replace it, even if it didnt effect tire duarbility (which it probably does) it'll bug you whenever your on the highway! especially if it pops! Think of the load your tire sees when you hit a bump. A weak spot is exposed pretty fast.
