my exhaust vibrates and hit up against my under body everything is screwed on tight i dont have a heat shield it makes a real loud and annoying sound i was thinking of putting some fire proof padding were it is hitting kind of like firewall padding what are your guyes ideas.

that exhaust wrap stuff might work. i see people put them on the headers.

 

I would not recommend header wrap because that will eventually corrode the piping as it traps in moisture. For the OP, where exactly is the exhaust hitting? Are all the rubber hangers pretty tight or do they still have some give?

 

get your headers wrapped. I will not only reduce your engine bay's heat but also lessen some worthless sounds,.

 

I have the same issue. I dont know where the expletive the noise is coming from. I have taken off every shield underneath and it has an annoying rattle at low rpm's.

 

i dont think it is the heat shield..
i have the same problem and i found out that the rear section of the muffler is hitting against the rear lower control arm

 

yeah I never thought of that but I am going to put it on a lift and see where the f its coming from
