lol. what else is wrong wit your car man, jesus?

is it making a squeeling noise like perhaps plastic spinning on plastic or metal spinning on plastic?

Do you want/afford brand spanking new or is your car just good enough for rebuild and remanufactured equipment?

the ones shown are perfect for a car just off the line if thats how you like it though
it looks oem anyway

lol my dizzy and radiator went, in the same day. the car never gave me any major problems until that day. i want to know is the performance, and reliability difference between thoughts types of dizzys?

Edit: the dizzy went because my mechanic had no choice but to put a air chisel to it to remove the rotor that was seized in there. after he did that after 10 min of driving CEL cam on for Cylinder position sensor. after i looked at the dizzy i saw the shaft in the middle is slightly bent, making it imbalanced

unless you get an msd your not going to see diff in performance (with wires and spark plugs aswell as ignition). So as far as reliability Oem is always the best choice, but some times the most expensive. Remanufactured usually come with warrenty, are cheaper, and last probably the remaining life of car when installed propperly/maintained properly. So if your tight buy remanufactured/used/wrecker, make sure its tested, make sure spindle turns freely and quietly, make sure contacts/wires/circuit board are clean. If red with dust inside, just wipe gently with a brush and Mild component safe solvant and let dry (not on car connected to power of course)

Sold a piece of junk to my friend and it failed costing him a Race on a very expensive weekend!
Shipped the wrong distributor to another!

Step up and buy one from Honda.......I just hope you don't have to pay full RETAIL for it like I did while stranded in a Tiny Town outside of Pittsburgh.
Majestic Honda is the play IMO.

Im sure most of the time theyre fine.....
that was just 2 bad reports about them from recent times. I am always a fan of NEW OEM when it comes to distributors. I bought a Reman'd one at 90k miles and it failed on me at 115k miles costing me serious money out of town. $1,000 including the extra night in PA and full retail for the part!
2 times in 8yrs on a Tow Truck, both from dizzy problems...
