obd2 to obd1 convesion problem. need help plz
Does the problem clear up after it is warmed up? This sounds like your IAC. The IAC is different on obd2 and obd1 cars, and an obd1 ecu would not "know" how to control an obd2 IAC, and vice versa. You can compensate by tuning the idle parameters on your obd1 ecu. From my experience, the IAC will still make a loud noise, but the idle will be more stable.
Are you throwing a CEL?
Have you unplugged the EVAP purge solenoid? If you haven't, that is most likely the cause of the bouncy idle and strange sucking noise.

Unplug it with the motor running and you will notice a dramatic change in idle. It should fix your issues. For some reason the OBD2 EVAP solenoid goes crazy when controlled with an OBD1 ECU.
