Default insight on intake manifold designs

i posted in this section because i thought id get the most information and less of the flamming on here.
i recently was able to get this piece at a local aftermarket yard sale for $10

with plans to create a setup with a plenum for forced induction. i was wondering what the differences in flow, power delivery, and response are if the throttle body was placed before the plenum (with a two throttle body placement to equalize flow) such as this:
compared to a setup with throttle bodies placed after the plenum, such as a forced induction car with ITB's, such as tony the tigers. it seems that at full throttle, the flow would be the same as the throttle plates would hardly hinder any flow, but at partial throttle, how is performance affected by plenum placement?
thanks for assistance

I see what appears to be "Paulus" written on the plenum flange? If so I bet its Paulus that works for (or used to work for) AEBS in San Diego. He may be able to give you some insight if he's still there....

I think it would be better (+ easier) to do a ITB forced induction setup than the dual TB design, that one in the pic is only like that cause it looks like it was easy to do the piping with the intercooler like that. You could even get a regular aftermarket IM and cut it off where the regular single TB would be and run the cold pipe to there, then rig it up to work with the ITBs on that thing you got...

thanks for the help so far, on the piece i got, it says "paid" from after i bought it at the apex'i garage sale. so, is it better to have the throttle body(s) before or after the plenum? thanks
