Which Ignition?
Personally, I'd stick with the OEM ignition. Save your money and invest it elsewhere.
i kinda feel the same, unless your car is heavily modded, because a complete ignition would cast around what $300?more or less.
that's $300 you could spend on more nitrous goodies.

I believe DunReit is completely retarded. You have to have an aftermarket ignition to run a 75 shot of n20. You need an ignition that allows you to retard your timing such as the msd digital 6.

Yah thats true, but maybe he's OBDII? I think, all OBDII cars have locked timing. I konw my 6th gen V6 its locked, also on my boys 5th gen Lude. So in that case you need to get an aftermarket timing controller.

You cant turn the distibutor on a 96-97 accord, they have locked distributors. The ECU does all the timing adjustments. Dunreit, you are lucky as hell you havent burnt valves or detonated with no retarding of your timing. Plus, it is recommended to retard your timing 3 degrees with a 75 shot. An adjustable distributor only lets you retard your timing 2 degrees.

uh...uh...ok i also have a 75 shot and guess what.....factory ignition.and yes, i have a 96 accord and guess what, yes you can turn the distributor to adjust timing.
Uh....no. Im sorry, you are incorrect. You can still adjust the timing on an obd2 car by jumping the service connection and turning the distributor.

MSD 6BTM is one of the best to get though.. you can pick one up off ebay for around 225-250 and they run around 400 normally..
