Did you wire the alarm in yourself?

Go back and check all of your wiring that was installed for the alarm and make sure that there are no shorts in the circuit. Wiring is a hard to diagnose problem over the net. Specially when it's an electrical problem concerning something installed by the owner/non factory.

nope its the factory alarm. heres what basically happened....i went out of town WITHOUT an alarm remote and my alarm acted up on me. so i messed with the LIGHTING/TAIL LIGHTS/AND THE HORN RELAYS cuz my alarm was going crazy. so when i got home i put them back in and got a new remote/programmed it and now i have a short but idk which relay is causing it. is there a way to see? all i did was program my remote and mess with teh relays

You have a short somewhere.

Probably when you messed with the relays you loosened up a wire or two which is why it's blowing the fuse

If you have a Haynes or Chilton manual and a multi meter you can check the resistance on the relays to see if they are good or not. If they are all the same 4 pin relay try switching a known good one into the tail light spot. That will tell you quickly if it's a relay. 4 pin # 39794-S01-A01 - 39794-S0K-A01 - 39794-S84-A01 are all the same relay there are 8 of them on your car. try one that works

If the relays all check out than you probably pulled something loose. Check in behind the fuse panel and make sure all the wires are in there holders good and tight. Make sure there isn't anything bridging between the connectors.

^^^ i dont have a manual or a multi meter. im prolly gonna go buy a multi meter and a pack of fuses since i only have one left. i tried changing up the relays and found out one of them is different. SIEMENS VFM-1141-Z06 4 PIN and the rest of the 3 are the same idk the name of them. but either way they all seem good and working

If all the relays are working then it looks like it's time to start search'n for a short in your tail light wires...always fun. Good luck

If you can, swap the relays out.

My fog lights relay was working (you could hear and see the thing switch) but it was still busted.

Swapped it for a new one and it's good to go

My Dad and I followed EVERY red/black wire in my car lol. That is the light wires from the parking lights back to the taillights. Anyways, we checked that wire EVERYWHERE, in the headlight switch, dome light, visor lights, everything. After we pulled everything apart and put it back together, it started working again. I never questioned it because I was scared it would do it again. It was a short somewhere though and I guess we just cleared it up.

this guy solved my headscratcher for the day, damn small light fuse was blown. i checked the fuses 3 times but still got no illumination. guess i was overlooking it, good lookin out though cloud
