Default need help asap

so i just bought a 90 crx si. got it home ran fine everything good. well come to find out that the fuel gauge is way off no big deal. Now today i go to start it and it wont start just turns over with no fire( once it started then died). Add some gas and it start fine. figure this must be the problem drive to the gas station and it won't start after fueling up either just turns over or dies right after starting. finally starts up and drives home(only about .5 miles). I think it might be the fuel pump. what do you guys think? Also how hard is it to put a fuel pump in one of these? thanks jamescb77

Change your main relay.

If you noticed, when the car just turns but does not fire, you won't hear a click when your engine light comes on and off on the start up, that's cause your pump ain't priming. The click is from the relay. Change it.

+1 on the main relay, the good news is it's cheap and easy to fix.

IIRC they're about $60 from honda (i picked up one from a salvage yard that worked for $10, but that's a gamble and it's still a nearly 20 year old part.
