Default bottoming out

last night i bottomed out for the first time ever coming out of a parking lot. i was just wondering that in the event of a small dent in the exhaust/downpipe, do i really need to worry about flow restriction/leaks? this might be a stupid question, but im just a paranoid ****** about my car. thanks.

No. I would be more worried about your springs/shocks.

get under there and check it out

cant really describe the severity of the scrape, but you were there so only thing you can do is inspect.

btw, any fat chicks in your car?

I bottomed out on my old DC2 lSVTEC. Dented the Headders had to get new one. YOu have to check out the severity of the damage, if its a scrape I woudln't worry. If it's dented then that's another thing,

Good luck w/ your problem

yeah, chances are you just scraped the pipe up bad. if its significantly dented well..... duh. sounds like a good reason to get an exhaust system.

since you have the megan DP'd check that first, i check mine every so often.

you should look into the front lower tie bar from megan racing. it protects the DP.

and it was there to take the impact when my dad drove into a parking block
