Bumpy ride
So i got my salvage S running today. I took it for a spin. Runs like new but the ride is a little bumpy. Is this just my car or do you feel most of the bumps in the road? This car has been sitting for three years. Every thing is stock. Any idea on making the ride a little more smooth?

Visually they look fine... is there some thing else i should be doing to "check" them?
Also i forgot to mention that when i really get on it the bumpiness goes away...only when im crusin' @ like 2K rpm is it bad
any thoughts?

Maybe that has something to do with it....
It isn't exactly a smooth riding car like a cadillac, you will feel more bumps that you do in your average car, but it shouldn't be "bouncy"

Light hit in the dr. front. - having it pulled next week. We will see if it goes away after that. I've done salvage projects b4 and they were hit worse but drove much smother.
Before the S i drove a 94 del sol, 97 grand am, and a 01 grand prix.

I would suspect that if it were sitting for 3 years, with no movement, things would probably take a bit to smooth out, or at least Id suspect. But if it were in an accident, than any number of things could cause a bumpy ride...bent frame, etc.
Was it modified before?

Go to a dealership that has a used one, drive it...see if its better, same, worse and then go by that, its kinda hard to tell you if something is wrong with it since your "rough ride" might be 100x different than my "rough ride"...i drive my CL-S daily, and my wife's S2000 is not very comfortable as far as ride quality goes, it certainly isnt bouncy, but it is quite stiff.
