I hav an 89 integra and over the past couple of years I feel the ride quality severely degrading in town but when i am flying down the freeways, its seems as good as before. I hav tokico shocks and stock springs cut one turn. Also its starting to bottom-out more and more easily over bumps, especially the fronts (maybe the bumps are getting bigger!!) The shop says my shocks are still good and there is no oil leaking too. He did the push down test and its firm as ever. I am so confused.... any ideas why the bottom-outs and degrading ride quality??

No, i didn't check the springs. I didn't think springs can wear out. Is it even possible for them to wear out???

By the way, what are the spring rates for stock springs on 89 integra???

 

If your shocks are fine, then I would say your springs are degrading. Also, might want to check the condition of the bushings.
