VTi and 3 stage vtec? What's the differnences
I need to know which is the best a VTi or 3 stage Vtec? Where can I get a 3 stage Vtec off from is off a d series ek by any chance?
3 stages of vtec won't make you faster.
It really won't show any gain without the appropriate motor that has the appropriate valve lift duration, compression, and timing.

It seems that all you're doing is spouting off snippets of things you've heard in magazines, threads, CarDomain pages, or passing conversations.
You need to learn before you choose to modify your car.
Learning as you go along generally leads to wasted money and regrets. Seriously, if I could have the money back from my modifications to my old motor, different cosmetic modifications I've done and later undone .... my car would be on the cover of every magazine out there
Do it right the first time.

VTi actually covers several different trims in several different countries. The VTi often comes with a DOHC VTEC engine, but is also known to have SOHC engines depending on the country of origin. The VTi comes in hatch, coupe and sedan bodies depending on the country of origin, but the hatch is the most well-known.
There is a VTi coupe sold in Europe that is an EM1 chassis, the same basic car as our USDM Civic Si coupe.
