today after i got home from work my 2 way remote just stopped working. The screen went blank and replacing batteries does nothing. Is there anything i can do to fix this or to reset the remote somehow.

I tried calling the company by it just rings and no one picks up.

 

Did you drop/damage the remote by any chance? If it went blank and doesn't respond when you put in a new battery then you more than likely you have to buy a new remote.

 

It wasnt dropped or damaged that I know of. I also heard directed has a limited lifetime warranty for the original owner, but i cant seem to get a hold of them.

Any other ideas?

 

If you bought the alarm from an AUTHORIZED dealer go back to them and explain what happened.

Exactly what happened. Also ask to speak to the manager. Be respectful when you talk to them, being rude will get you nowhere.

haha, yea.. i worked for a camera shop for like a year.. you would not believe how rude people were to me trying to get a refund...
